Aaron Dickinson

 Professional Background


Aaron's passion for arboriculture began in Vermont, where he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and forest ecosystems. This early connection to nature led him to pursue an Associate Degree in Urban Tree Management, launching his career as a climbing arborist with a growing interest in Plant Health Care.

Recognizing the need for deeper scientific understanding, Aaron returned to academia to earn his Bachelor of Science in Forest Biology. This educational foundation has been instrumental in shaping his comprehensive approach to tree care and management.


Continuous Professional Development

Throughout his 35-year career in the tree care industry, Aaron has remained committed to advancing his expertise and expanding his understanding of arboriculture. His dedication to professional growth is exemplified by his specialized field experience, including:

  • Wildfire Response Expertise: Aaron contributed his skills in Paradise, California (2018/2019) and Grizzly Flats, California (2022), conducting critical Tree Risk Assessments and Hazard Tree Identification following devastating wildfires. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into fire's effects on tree health and structural integrity.

  • Bachelor of Science in Forest Biology - University of Vermont

Aaron achieved ISA Certified Arborist status in 1996 and advanced to Board Certified Master Arborist in 2005, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of professional excellence. He successfully completed the prestigious American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) Academy in 2007 and earned his Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA) designation in 2018.

Pesticide Application Credentials

Aaron's comprehensive pesticide licensing history spans multiple states, reflecting his broad regional expertise and commitment to safe, effective plant health care practices. He has obtained pesticide licenses in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Maine, and currently holds an active Minnesota Pesticide License and New York Commercial Applicators License.
